In the far future our sun has begun its inevitable expansion process, scorching Earth’s surface with extreme radiation, sending humanity to hide in the lowest depths of the sea, waiting in protected dome cities, while probes scour the galaxy for inhabitable planets for us to move to.

Generations later a probe finally returns, crashing on Earth’s surface, now a hostile and alien place that no human has seen in eons.
