Anxiety is ubiquitous in our modern age, and it’s common to hear people refer to “my anxiety” as if their mental health were a pet. This book acknowledges the common feeling that we have to take care of our anxiety much as we would a naughty puppy: chasing it when it runs off, cleaning up after it when it makes a mess, and trying to train it to sleep in its crate.
